V & D – St. Paul, MN Hmong Wedding Photographer

Vee and Donny have been eying the Harriet Pavillion in St. Paul, Minnesota in her early stages of wedding planning. The venue is usually booked years in advance, so when they had a last-minute cancellation, they snagged the only possible date available to get married in 2018 and quickly planned their wedding. Vee didn’t care so much about the glitz and glam of a big wedding. She cared so much more about being present at her wedding. So she planned a wedding for a limited amount of guests–only those who loved and supported her and Donny’s journey together.

She opted for simple decorations. She did her own hair and makeup. Her florals was a combination of Costco, FiftyFlowers.com, and the Saturday St Paul Farmer’s Market. The centerpieces were set up by the bridal party. Donny made the wedding arch and she handwrote all the signs and name tags.
